| While it's indeed technically licensed, distribution has stopped. You can't buy it in English. |

It's just as Scab said. Slam Dunk is in a unique situation that doesn't happen to many shows that are licensed. That is, the licensor has stopped supporting it. Good job getting your facts straight though Keep up the good work _________________ I been doin' this for forever, so whatever.

Toei animation never sold the license so if you want to be like that, every anime that is owned by toei, and even not being released in the states by toei animation or related to them (which is the case for Slam Dunk) can be considered "licensed" .
I never liked the word anyway, everything that's owned by a Japanese company is copyright protected in the majority of the world, thus "licensed". Call it sublicensed for distribution in North America. That covers the meaning much better.
It also means Slam Dunk is not "licensed" by the generally accepted meaning of the word in fansubs.
Why am I bothering to reason with morons anyway?
Honestly, it's not like we owe you an explanation.
Yeah, that was just dumb... _________________ Nothing funny bout being an otaku. It's sad. Get a life! Ashy b*st*rds. |

Hmm are you implying me as that moron? i simply just asked if Slam Dunk was license I wasn't even starting a argument. And like you said why bother to reason with morons and give explanation, then don't post a reply if you feel that way unless you just want to tease newbie member with less post and ban me from this community.

Ahhh, no wonder its impossible to buy the DVD here, I looked all over stores and none of them sell, well maybe you see like poster or figurines but as for manga and DVD are no where to be seen. Anyways one question, will you be releasing the first episode sometime this month? |

I would consider it in the unlikely event of that happening... which it won't, so there isn't really a point in hoping for it. How about supporting the show you like, Eyeshield 21, by purchasing it instead of hoping that it economically fails Because if it economically fails, the anime will likely go unfinished and you'll never see the Christmas Bowl. _________________ I been doin' this for forever, so whatever.
